A Community led Charity
Hunsonby Community Centre is a registered charity (1172712) with its own Constitution. We have met the standard to achieve Hallmark One, a quality standard scheme for village halls operated by ACT (Action with Communities). We have a committee comprising of local volunteers. If you would like to be involved, get in touch.

Rachel Forster, Chair
I was born and continue to live in Hunsonby with my husband Lee and our children Anna, Frankie and Polly. The countryside and children are my passion which shows both in my work and home life. I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors, floristry and various crafts. I am inspired by our flourishing community and want to support this for my family to grow up in.

Bryan Gray, Deputy Chair
I was born in Yorkshire, lived for 25 years in Lancashire and now enjoy living in Hunsonby. We bought the former Methodist chapel 15 years ago and love it. It is home to my model of Little Salkeld station. Lydia and I have three sons in Cheshire, Copenhagen and Singapore.

Becci Cook, Treasurer
I grew up on a farm at Robberby on the outskirts of Hunsonby. I now live in Winskill, with my husband Nick and two daughters Maddi and Faith. I love spending time with my family, making memories and going on holiday. In my spare time I enjoy walking, catching up with friends and exploring new places.

Julie Ullyart, Secretary
I have been brought up in the Eden valley and have lived in Hunsonby/Winskill for many years, with my husband Steve and son Will along with lots of animals! I enjoy horse riding, spending time with friends and family and going on holiday.

Francesca Stott, Fundraising
I live locally in Winskill with our two young children, Will and Evie, my husband Darren and dog Bertie. When not working I love to help others to arrange social events. It’s something I am really passionate about and have lots of links with local businesses which anyone who is looking to have an event at Hunsonby Community Centre can benefit from.

Sally Metcalfe, Trustee
I am a happily married mum of two. I was born in Hunsonby and have had family connections to the village all my life. I have a real love of animals and the countryside. I have many hobbies including needle felting, horse riding, baking and running.
